Alexandra Robinson graduated with a first class honours degree from Leeds College of Music in 2014. During her time there, she engaged with a wide range of repertoire and was privileged to participate in masterclasses ranging from contemporary classical vocal music with Exaudi to Baroque music with Grammy award-winning soprano Deborah York. She recently completed her Masters in Performance at Leeds University.
Based in Sheffield, she has performed widely in the north of England at venues including Leeds Town Hall & Sheffield Cathedral. She regularly performs as a soloist with choirs and as part of various ensembles.
She also has a wealth of experience of performing at weddings.
She has a particular interest in Russian song, winning the Rose Bowl for her performance of Rachmaninov at Burnley & Colne Festival of Music. Her Masters dissertation focused on the art songs of Anton Arensky. She is currently working on songs by Tanyeev, Arensky, Rachmaninov & Tchaikovsky in addition to expanding her French and German repertoire.
